Designed for professionals who handle more than just simple bends.

Applications & Best uses

The Schechtl TBS is primarily used for the manual fabrication of thin-sheet metal profiles where complex, four-sided bends are required.
  • Complex Forms: Ideal for producing boxes, cassettes, window sills, and specialty profiles that require bending on all sides.
  • Roofing & Exteriors: Specifically masters eaves and ridge folds, including 25 mm and 35 mm “automatic rebate” seams.
  • On-Site Production: Its compact design allows for self-sufficient profile production directly at the job site, reducing trips back to a central shop.
  • Cutting (Optional): Can be equipped with a roller shear to cut sheets directly on the machine, maintaining clean edges and minimal distortion.

The TBS advantage

  • High Portability: Lightweight enough for one-person operation and transport. It can be installed on a workbench or directly in a construction vehicle or van.
  • Tool-Free Setup: Features a patented quick clamping system that allows all segments on the clamping, lower, and bending beams to be rearranged in seconds without tools or screws.
  • Maneuverability: An optional foldable X-shaped support stand with rollers allows the machine to be pulled behind a user like a roller suitcase.
  • Design Freedom: The clamping beam has a 45-degree flat slope and 40 mm of free space, providing extra clearance for refined seamed profiles with long limbs.
  • Durable Build: Constructed with a rigid steel frame and maintenance-free bearings for long-term reliability in harsh site conditions.

Standard configuration:

  • Quick Clamping System: A patented tool-free system for all segments on the clamping, lower, and bending beams.
  • High-Strength Aluminium Segments: Protected against contact corrosion for durability in outdoor site conditions.
  • Standard Segment Division (TBS 100): Includes 1x 30/40/60/70 mm, 2x 50 mm, 5x 100 mm, and 1 pair of 100 mm corner segments (left/right).
  • Standard Segment Division (TBS 125): Includes 1x 30/40/50/60/70 mm segments.
  • Radius Segments: Standard segments on the clamping beam typically have a 1.00 mm radius.
  • Segment Box: A dedicated box for safe transport and storage of segments when not in use.

Tools/Options

  • Roller shear slitter: Cutting performance 0.80 mm steel
  • X-Shaped base frame, foldable with wheels
  • Standing base frame, detachable from the machine

Technical Data

FRIBESCO’s reasons:

Why choose the TBS folder?

Unmatched Site Mobility: It is the most compact segment folder in its class
Tool-Free “Click” Setup: Featuring a patented quick-clamping system
Complete Folding Freedom: With 40 mm of free space behind the segments and a 45° flat slope.
One-Man “Suitcase” Transport: The optional foldable X-stand allows a single operator to pull the machine like a piece of luggage.

The Schechtl TBS is a compact, manual segment bending machine designed specifically for high-mobility use on construction sites and in small workshops.

It is the smallest manual segment bending machine in the Schechtl range, often referred to as a “giant” for its flexibility in tight spaces like scaffolding or between floors.
