The AK is a versatile workshop folder primarily used for manual thin-sheet metal processing.

Daily Bending Tasks: Handles standard bending jobs such as creating simple profiles, flashings, and trims.
Series Bending: Equipped with an angle scale and a movable angle gauge, it is well-suited for producing a consistent series of bends.
Cutting & Beading: With optional attachments, the machine can also be used for precise sheet metal cutting (up to 0.8 mm steel) and beading.
Hems: The integrated centre bearing provides additional stability for pressing hems shut.

Effortless Operation: The clamping beam slides on a special plastic covering and can be operated via foot pedal or hand lever, ensuring a precise vertical and nearly effortless movement.
Maintenance-Free: All guides and machine elements are resistant to wear and do not require regular maintenance.
Pneumatic Support Option: For thicker materials (up to 1.5 mm), a pneumatic bending support can be added to assist the operator during the bending process.
High Flexibility: Offers various equipment options like different back gauges, radius blades (R2–5), and digital readouts for front adjustment.

Standard configuration:

Foot pedal to operate the clamping beam
Tinsmith blade 22.5°: sharp clearance of 6 mm for hems to ensure sharp, clean bends.
Bending Blade: 10mm and 20mm for the 2 metres machines; 15mm and 25mm for the 3 metres machine.
Bending Angle Scale: A mechanical scale with a movable angle gauge for setting consistent, repeatable bend angles.
1 Piece bottom beam blade; Clamping and bottom beams made of the S 54 special profile are break-proof and of high strength.
The clamping beam slides on a special plastic covering, which ensures precise vertical and almost effortless operation by hand lever or pedal.
The folding beam weight is telescopically balanced or compensated over the whole bending range.
Adjustable Clamping Pressure: Manual adjustment for the clamping beam to suit different material thicknesses.

Tools/Options

Radius Blades: Interchangeable blades for the clamping beam with radius of R2, R3, R4, or R5 mm, essential for bending sensitive materials without cracking.
Roller Shear: A rail-mounted slitter attachment for precise, burr-free cuts directly on the machine (for steel up to approx. 0.8 mm).
Profiling and flattening device
Beading Attachment: A tool used for creating strengthening beads or decorative “pencil” rolls on the edge of the sheet. – Beading rod 14/16/18/20 or 22 mm
Sheet support table: An extension table to help level and support larger workpieces during positioning.
Backgauge Systems:
- Backgauge: 10 – 500mm or 10 – 750mm.
- Manual Backgauge: Adjustable from the front with a digital readout for high-precision depth setting, also includes a sheet support table.
Pneumatic Bending Support: A cylinder system that assists the operator when bending thicker materials (specifically for the 1.5 mm capacity models).
